PFR strengthens Banking & Finance with Dr. Klaus Fanni

PFR continues to expand its banking and financial supervisory law practice: with Dr. Klaus Fanni joining as a seasoned banking and capital markets lawyer, the team of partner Dr. Bernd Fletzberger gains further strength. This move reflects the sustained high demand from regulated companies for supervisory law advice – ranging from licensing and owner control procedures, through the ongoing implementation of the EU wave of regulation, to banking and capital markets litigation.

Supervisory law, transactions and dispute representation from a single source

Dr. Fanni advises banks, financial service providers and other regulated companies on banking and financial supervisory law, banking contract and capital markets law, as well as on financing transactions. A further focus lies in representation in complex banking and capital markets disputes. From 2009 to 2020 he worked at DLA Piper Weiss-Tessbach in Vienna, during which time he completed a secondment at an international major bank. He has been admitted as an attorney since 2014. Most recently he worked in Liechtenstein, where he gained experience in cross-border regulatory and corporate law matters, asset structuring and asset protection. He also served for several years as a member of a foundation board. Dr. Fanni studied at the University of Vienna and advises in German, English and French.
